Christmas Tree Branch

I love changing my decor with the Seasons. It’s not always possible, but I try to add subtle changes in most rooms!

The Christmas Tree Branch is a firm favourite in our house. In years gone by, I’ve made mini versions for the children’s bedrooms. I’ve made advent versions (& added little hanging chocolates to them). Unfortunately I think the kids were too young to grasp the concept of waiting each day for a chocolate and would sneakily eat them 🤣🙈 They are older now, so perhaps it’s worth another try!

First step, head out for a nature walk & search for some branches!

Cut your branches

Line up your branches and cut them from small to large (creating a triangle/ tree shape)

Wrap Your string around the wood

Try and keep the triangular shape with the string

Add some battery lights

I like to use the micro battery lights as it’s easier to hide the battery pack behind the branch with some masking tape

The best bit !

You can have some real fun here decorating! Hang baubles, add foliage, add advent treats!
I am using mine to showcase the baubles we are stocking this Christmas!
