How to Care for your Fresh Cut Tulips- Top Tips

1) Remove any leaves that will be under the water line in your vase

2) Add 1/4 tsp bleach to the water. (This will prevent any bacteria growing in the water… don’t worry it won’t harm your flowers!)

3) Add 1 tsp sugar to feed the flowers.

4) Poke a pin through the top of the stem to prevent drooping.

5) Trim the stem’s ends every few days.

Did you know that Tulips continue to grow even once they have been cut?!

P.S Lots of people also swear by putting a 2p coin in the vase too!
